Honestly, I think those apps that track what you cook at home to sell you stuff cross a line, but my friends say I'm overreacting.

It's the creepiest part, honestly. My phone started showing me ads for a specific brand of cat food after I just talked about my cat's diet near it (I hadn't even searched for it). It makes you wonder what else is listening and connecting dots we don't even see. That level of spying just for ads feels super wrong, like a violation.
