After three tries, I gave up on their breakfast burrito for good.

I kept hoping it would improve, but each time it was cold and soggy. Finally skipping it felt like a win for my taste buds and wallet. What menu item did you stop ordering after repeated fails?

My buddy Tom had the same thing with chicken strips. Three times ordering them, three times they came out dry as cardboard. He finally told the waiter "never again" last week.

Feel for Tom, man. Dry chicken strips just ruin the whole meal. I had a similar thing with fish tacos at this one spot, ordered them twice and both times the fish was like cardboard. It's so frustrating when you give a place multiple chances and they still mess it up. After the second time, I just stopped going back because why bother? Maybe it's just me, but once the trust is gone, it's hard to order from there again.

God, I feel that so hard. Like, there was this pizza place I used to love, but the last three times, the crust was just soggy and gross. I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but after wasting money on that, I stopped ordering. Kinda reminds me of what @eric_schmidt said about Tom and the chicken strips, but with pizza. It's like once you expect bad food, you just can't enjoy it anymore. Such a bummer.
