Vent: My 'fruit punch' drink had no real fruit in it

The ingredients were just sugar, water, and artificial flavors.

Come on, is anyone really surprised by this anymore? Jadew63 has a point about reading the label, but honestly most stuff in that aisle is just sugar water with a fancy picture. It sucks but it's pretty much the standard for anything cheap and shelf-stable. Getting mad about it is like getting mad at rain for being wet. They've been doing this for years, it's not some new trick. I just don't see the big shock here.

But do we ever stop to read the full list before buying? They count on us just seeing the front label and not the details.
