My friend's old phone made me rethink my upgrade habit
I was at a coffee shop in Austin with my buddy Jake last month, and he pulled out his 4-year-old Pixel 4a. I joked about the cracked screen, but he said, 'Honestly, it still does everything I need.' He showed me the battery still lasts a full day and the camera is fine for his kid pics. I realized I'd been upgrading my phone every 2 years just because, not because my old one was broken. Has anyone else kept a gadget way longer than expected and been totally happy with it?

Honestly, the best part is not having to learn a new layout or move all your stuff over every other year.

Just keep everything in the same spot... muscle memory kicks in and you're not fumbling around for the remote at 2am.

My old apartment was a total mess, I moved things around constantly. Then I tried keeping my keys on the same hook for a month and it totally changed my mind.
