Rant: Fancy parts in every new builder video
I remember trying to build my first PC and all the recommended lists had expensive stuff. It felt like you needed to spend a ton just to start, which isn't true in my view. Can we talk about realistic setups for regular folks?

What's the deal with these build guides that need more lights than a nightclub? My first build looked like a robot threw up inside a case, with mismatched fans and a used GPU from three generations ago. You can totally get a solid 1080p setup with last year's parts or even smart used picks. My "gaming chair" was a kitchen stool for six months, and the PC still ran fine.

Man, I used to be all about those crazy RGB builds. Then I realized my games run the same with the lights off lol.
