Rant: Bus driver held the door for a runner and we all had to wait

I see both sides, it's nice to help but frustrating when you're on time. What's your take?

Totally get the frustration, especially when the runner is still a block away. Feels like the driver's trying to win some unspoken good guy award at our expense.

Weigh thirty seconds against someone missing their ride home. What are people doing with that half a minute, performing brain surgery? Hardly seems like a day ruiner.

My bus did that yesterday, made us wait maybe thirty seconds. Hard to get too worked up over such a short delay in the grand scheme.
