inPSA: I was wrong about using a 4-foot bull float on every pour
Honestly I've been using a 4 foot float for years on all kinds of slabs and never had a complaint. Tbh it sounds like more of a technique thing than a tool rule. I get a flat finish by just watching my edges and not overworking it. Ngl I'm not buying a whole new float just for a few extra feet of width.

inHad a beer with a retired operator who worked on the Space Needle
Yeah, the operator is everything. I saw a crane operator thread a tiny space and it was pure skill.

inRemember when plant identification meant hauling around a massive field guide from the 90s?
Lol, I miss the struggle too. My old guide was so wrong half the time we'd end up arguing over blurry pictures of leaves.

inTried to train a simple AI to sort my work photos. It took me a whole weekend to figure out it kept mixing up 'before' and 'after' shots.
Exactly, it's like the AI has a checklist of surface level stuff. If a messy room has a sunny window, it might score higher than a tidy room at dusk. That means a "good" before photo could ruin your whole progress log. The system isn't seeing a cleaned desk, it's just counting bright pixels.

inMy journal saved me from a total Tuesday meltdown
Lol that "wild luck" comment got me thinking @nathana48. When you say your bujo shows you how behind you are, what's actually in there? Like, is it a giant list of tasks you never check off, or do you track stuff like time spent on social media versus real work? My cousin uses hers just for mood tracking and it's basically a diary of anxiety, which seems counterproductive.
