inTIL my watery pasta sauce got fixed with oatmeal
My aunt in Phoenix always kept instant mashed potato flakes for fixing thin gravy. She learned that from working at a truck stop cafe back in the 90s, and it was her go-to trick. Oatmeal is a smart move because it's basically just fiber that absorbs water. I remember one time I used leftover cooked rice to thicken a soup, and it worked but made it too starchy. Your idea with oatmeal probably blends in better with pasta sauce. It's cool how kitchen fails can lead to new tricks like this.

Seriously, was the dryer that dangerous to use for one night?

inShoutout to plastic bread clips for spring tension
Exactly what @adams.joel said. I have like five of those cables in a drawer somewhere doing nothing.

inSerious question, my issue with AI coding assistants and basic logic
It's frustrating when AI tools mess up simple tasks like sorting a list. Companies probably chase bigger models because they look better in headlines and attract funding. The real issue is that these AI systems lack common sense, which isn't fixed by just adding more data. I've seen AI make things harder by adding stuff that isn't needed. This focus on scale means basic errors get missed, and coders waste time fixing simple code. Until they focus on logic over raw size, these tools will keep being hit or miss.
