Just realized the AI art debate misses the real issue: the prompt writers never sign their work
I was scrolling through an AI art gallery last week and saw a stunning landscape. Then I read the comments and someone pointed out the prompt was copied word for word from a Reddit post 6 months ago. That made me think about how we argue about whether AI art is stealing from artists, but nobody talks about how prompt writers steal from each other. The real theft is in the text box, not the model. If you use a prompt someone else wrote, you should credit them. Does anyone else see this double standard?
