Just realized the hours I wasted on AI art prompts could have been spent learning to draw.

I tried using an AI art generator to make pictures for a family photo album. I figured it would be fast, but I kept waiting for the right output and tweaking words for days. The images came out strange and never matched what I had in mind. I finally stopped and used old photos instead, which was quicker overall. This got me thinking about how AI art tools promise ease but demand lots of time. Does that defeat the purpose of saving effort? What do you all think about the patience needed for AI versus human art?

My buddy tried getting an AI to design a tattoo for him last month. He spent a whole weekend typing in descriptions of wolves and forests, but the paws always looked wrong or the trees were melted. He gave up and just paid an artist to draw it, which took two days but looked right the first time.

Three people I know tried AI tattoo designs last year. All of them had issues with hands or feet looking weird. Your buddy's experience, @oscar_lopez, shows a common problem. AI can make pretty pictures but often gets basic stuff wrong. I see this pattern with other tasks like editing photos or writing resumes. The human touch just knows how to fix things that machines miss.
