Can we talk about the AI art display at the Denver airport?
I was walking through the new terminal last week and saw a huge digital screen showing art made by an AI. It was a landscape that changed with the weather data from outside. The colors shifted from blue to gray as a storm rolled in. It made me wonder how many public spaces are starting to use generative art like this. Has anyone else seen something similar in their city?

Remember that giant robot arm painting at the mall last year. It was just copying famous art styles from a database. These things feel like watching a really fancy screensaver. The airport piece just turns weather into colors, which is basically what my phone's wallpaper already does. Maybe we're getting too excited about computers doing simple tasks with fancy tech.

That weather color thing is just a fancy clock.

Honestly, I find that stuff kind of empty. It's a neat trick, but it's just decoration made by an algorithm following a weather feed. Saw a similar screen in a bank lobby that changed with stock prices. It feels more like a tech demo than real art made by a person with something to say. Public art should connect with people, not just show off what a computer can do.
