inI swapped my cheap gas station oil for synthetic at 120k miles and the engine runs totally different now
Three years ago I swore up and down that cold brew was just overpriced iced coffee for people with more money than sense. Then my buddy dragged me to this little place off Main Street and I had to eat my words hardcore lmao. It's not just stronger, it's like the bitterness is gone and you actually taste the coffee instead of fighting it. Now I brew my own at home with a cheap mason jar setup and it's genuinely changed my mornings. I still think some places charge way too much for it, but I get why people pay now.

inVent: That wireless sensor on the Smith job gave me grief
You ever notice how those metal studs are always in the weirdest spots too lol. Like I had a baby monitor that kept cutting out and I traced it back to the metal frame in the ceiling above the crib. Moved the camera three inches to the left and it worked perfect. Sometimes it's not even the big obvious metal stuff either.

inQuestion about the Cahokia Mounds debate: were they a city or just ceremonial?
Totally get where you're coming from with this debate, it's a tough one to sort through. I spent a summer volunteering at a dig out near the Ohio River, and the arguments between the two camps felt almost personal sometimes. The revisionist folks make some good points about seasonal use, but the sheer amount of residential debris I saw at similar mound sites makes me lean toward permanent occupation. Your mileage may vary, but the old school population estimates have never felt way off to me.

inPro tip: stop putting your graduation year on your resume if it's been over 5 years
Oh man, that's such a good point! I've actually had a recruiter tell me once that they look at graduation years to figure out if someone's been in the industry long enough to know their stuff, which is total nonsense. Like, why does it matter if you graduated in 2010 versus 2015 if you've got the skills for the job? So my question for you is, what do you think is the best way to handle it if your degree is from a long time ago but it's still relevant to the job, do you just leave it off entirely or mention it without the year?

inMy grandma's tuna casserole with crushed potato chips on top... my roommates think I'm crazy
That "weird but good" is exactly how I'd describe it. I read somewhere that the whole "chips on casserole" thing is actually a Midwest classic, people swear by crunching up anything from Doritos to plain potato chips on top for texture. Never tried BBQ ones myself but now I'm curious. Hey @alicesingh, your dad might have been onto something because I heard it adds a little smoky kick that cuts through the tuna. Might have to grab a bag next time I'm at the store and give it a shot.
