I finally admitted the AI scheduling tool was slower than my paper list
Spent 4 days setting up an AI calendar bot for my install crew in Phoenix, and it still couldn't handle a simple late delivery change. My old notebook took 20 minutes to fix the same problem, so I switched back this morning. Anyone else find the automation actually adds more steps than it saves?

The real issue is the bot needs perfect input to work. Trucks break down, deliveries shift, customers change their minds, that's the actual job. A paper list is flexible because you're the one making the calls. The tool turns every hiccup into a data entry problem. Sounds like you saved yourself a headache by switching back. Sometimes the old way wins because it doesn't pretend the world is clean.

Man, exactly! That's why I keep a blank notepad in the truck for the "real" plan and just use the app for the basic route. Paper's always the backup when stuff goes sideways.
