Saw a robot arm restocking shelves at a grocery store in Frisco and nobody even looked up
Stood there for 10 minutes watching it figure out a crushed cereal box, and it never once dropped anything or complained. Are we all just pretending this is normal now, or is everyone else as weirded out as I was?
Watched my buddy almost have a meltdown over one of those last month. He was at a Walmart in Plano and this thing was zipping around doing inventory, scanning stuff on the top shelves with a camera on a pole. He tried to ask an employee a question and she just pointed at the robot and said it knows more than she does. He said the creepy part wasn't the robot, it was how fast everyone stopped noticing it was there. Like by day three it was just another thing in the aisle, same as a shopping cart.
