Spent $40 on an AI voice assistant for my truck and regretted it by mile 10
I drive a 2018 Ford F-150 and thought it'd be cool to have an AI handle my calls and texts hands-free. Popped in this little box from a company called VoiceAI Pro last Tuesday. Thing kept calling my grandma at 6 AM because it misheard "skip that track" as "call Grandma." She wasn't mad, just confused. Then on the highway it tried to send a text saying "I'm buying milk and eggs" to my boss instead of my wife. Has anyone else dealt with an AI assistant that just makes things worse instead of helping?

You gotta treat those things like a new hire, gotta train em for a week before you trust em. I had the same issue with mine and found out you can actually adjust the voice sensitivity and block certain contacts from being voice accessible in the settings. Took me a couple afternoons messing with the app but it stopped calling random people after that, mostly just handles music now but way more reliable.

Feel your pain man, I spent an entire weekend tweaking mine before it stopped calling my mom at 3am.
