My first air fryer chicken wings actually turned out crispy

I read a comment online saying to pat the wings dry with paper towels before seasoning, and I finally tried it. Did 12 wings at 380 for 25 minutes and they came out perfect. What temp do you all use for chicken wings?

Whoa, hold on, I gotta disagree a bit here. I see that advice everywhere but patting them dry isn't the only way. I actually get way crispier wings by tossing them in a little baking powder (with my seasoning) and letting them sit uncovered in the fridge for a few hours, or even overnight. It pulls the moisture out of the skin without the mess of paper towels. Then I do 400 degrees for 30 minutes, flipping halfway, and they come out super crunchy, like they're fried. The dry paper towel method never gave me that same level of crunch, I end up with soggy spots. But hey, if 380 worked for you, maybe your oven runs hot!

Wait have you tried the baking powder fridge trick with salt instead? I do that too but I add a tiny bit of salt to the baking powder and let them sit for like 4 hours minimum. Then I crank it to 400 for 28 minutes and flip them at 15. They come out so crunchy I swear you could hear them crack from across the room. The paper towel thing always left me with some sticky spots too, this method never fails me.
