Finally got that weird vibration on a King Air 200 figured out
It was a small shake in the yoke that only showed up at cruise power. Spent almost 8 hours over two days checking everything from the prop balance to the engine mounts. Turned out to be a tiny crack in a firewall bracket for the rudder cable pulley. Anyone else had a gremlin like that take way too long to find?

That "tiny crack" hunt sounds familiar, I once found a bad vibration from a loose wire bundle rubbing the control column.

Remember that time @felixfisher, weird stuff like that always seems to happen right after you fix the main problem. Spent an hour last week chasing a rattle that was just a pen rolling in the glove box. Makes you feel a bit silly after checking all the big stuff.
