Shoutout to the Jones family in Bakersfield who waited 6 hours while I chased a bad zone
Last Tuesday I spent six hours on a job in Bakersfield chasing a zone that kept tripping for no reason. I swapped the door contact twice, ran new wire, and even replaced the panel before I found it: a staple from the original install was pinched against the wire inside the wall. The whole fix took about four minutes once I saw it. How do you all handle the ones where the obvious stuff keeps failing and you have to start opening walls?
