Switched from wireless sensors to hardwired on a 1920s house in Milwaukee, and I feel dumb for waiting
Every window in that place had lead paint and old wood sashes so the wireless contacts kept falling off in winter, and hardwiring took 3 extra hours but zero callbacks in 8 months. Anyone still pushing wireless on old houses want to explain why?
