Can we talk about those jobs that look easy but eat up your whole day?
I had a call for a fridge not cooling right, just a basic check. The owner said it was maybe the thermostat. I got there, tested it, and it was fine. Then I spent over three hours chasing a tiny air leak in the evaporator coil line. The leak was so small my detector barely picked it up. I had to take apart half the back panel and use soapy water to finally see the bubbles. What should have been a one hour service call turned into almost five hours on site. Has anyone else had a simple fridge repair turn into a major hunt like that? What's your go-to method for finding those super slow leaks?

Ever have a day where the simple fix just ghosts you? Those tiny leaks are the worst, they'll steal your whole afternoon.

You're right about those tiny leaks. They start as a five minute job and somehow end up eating three hours. It's the universe's way of reminding you that nothing is ever simple.

I once spent two hours on a leak that needed a single turn of a wrench. My own personal time vortex.
