Vent: drain pump check valve I ignored for 6 months finally bit me
I kept skipping the check valve on dishwasher drain pumps during callbacks, figured it was a fluke issue, then a clogged one flooded a customer's kitchen in Tulsa last Tuesday. Anyone else regret skipping that 2 minute inspection on routine service?

Man, I gotta disagree with you there. I mean, skipping that check is like playing roulette with someone's kitchen, and it only takes a minute to do it right.
