Unpopular opinion: I asked a librarian a random question and found out my library card does way more than books
I was killing time at the downtown branch in Boise last month and asked the desk lady if the library had a 3D printer. She laughed and said they have one, plus free museum passes, a seed library, and a tool lending closet. Turns out my card gets me into the local history museum for free, which is normally $14 a person. I've had this card for 9 years and never knew any of it. What's the most random thing your library card gets you that has nothing to do with books?
