Spent $300 on a star tracker mount, regret it after 5 clear nights
Bought a portable EQ mount thinking it'd make my Milky Way shots crisp, but the polar alignment setup ate 45 minutes every time and I still got trails on half my frames. Friends swear by theirs, but am I just cheaping out on the tripod head or is this whole category overhyped for casual shooters?
