Had to choose between a proper dent puller or a toilet plunger on a Sunday
Customer's kid put a softball-sized dent in their door and needed it 'fixed' before a Monday morning meeting. I went with the plunger, warm water, and a prayer. It popped out clean, but I'll never forget the look on my wife's face when I asked to borrow her good bathroom one. Anyone else had to get creative with a weird 'emergency' fix?

Ever try to fix a cracked phone screen with clear nail polish? My kid dropped mine and the crack was right over the home button. A tiny dab sealed it up just enough to stop it from catching my finger, and it bought me a whole week until my new case came in.

Oh man, that's a solid hack. I've used a tiny bit of super glue along the crack line before, but you gotta be so careful not to get any in the button itself. A toothpick helps control the flow. It's crazy what we'll try to avoid that repair shop bill for a little while longer, right?

Always thought you needed the right tool for the job. That plunger trick proves sometimes the wrong tool is exactly right. Guess I was just being stubborn before.
