I found out how many shops actually skip respot welding
Saw a stat from I-CAR last month. Almost 40% of body shops don't respot weld after replacement panels. Just use structural adhesive alone. That blew my mind. I always thought that was standard procedure, weld plus glue. Now I'm questioning all the used cars I've fixed. Am I being too old school here? Anyone else still double checking their MIG settings on every job?
