Bought a $180 "lifetime" brake lathe bit set at a swap meet in Reno, chipped 3 of them in one week
The vendor swore they were carbide and would cut any rotor I threw at them. I got maybe 4 rotors done before the first one chipped, and the box had no brand, just a sticker with a phone number that was disconnected when I called. Anyone else get burned on no-name cutting tools, or is it just me being cheap at swap meets?
