Discovered a 20 dollar harbor freight trick that saves my knuckles every oil change

I got sick of busting my hands on stuck drain plugs so I grabbed one of those cheap stubby ratchets with a swivel head, and it reached the filter housing on my 2012 F-150 without pulling the skid plate. Has anyone else found a random tool that just makes a job way less miserable?

Heard a guy on a car forum talking about using a long 3/8 extension and a universal joint on his Silverado, same kind of problem with the skid plate in the way. Swear by keeping a set of wobble sockets in the truck now, they bend just enough to get on those dumb angled bolts without stripping anything. Makes a nasty job feel almost easy, which is saying a lot for changing oil.
