That time I tried to rebuild a carburetor myself and it went sideways fast
Picked up a rebuild kit for my '85 F150's 2-barrel carb for $30 last weekend and thought I'd save some cash, ended up with fuel flooding everywhere after I messed up the float adjustment. Has anyone else had a DIY carb job turn into a bigger headache than just paying a shop $200?

Nah, you probably just saved the $170 for next time you gotta learn it.

Wait, you already paid $170 for someone to teach you? Man, that's a lot of cash for a lesson you forgot. I would've been sick to my stomach if I shelled out that kind of money and didn't pick it up right away.
Learning by messing up is the real way to go, but $170 is a steep price for a reminder.
Bet you won't forget it a second time though.
Kinda crazy they charge that much for a class that didn't stick.
