Had a broker in Phoenix book my truck for a 2AM pickup, then it vanished by 7AM
Last month I was hauling a classic Mustang from Phoenix to Dallas for $1,800, and the dispatcher swore the driver would be there by 2AM. By 7AM the truck never showed, and the owner texted me, 'Where's my car?' Turns out the broker double-booked and gave my load to a bigger carrier. Has anyone else had a broker pull a bait-and-switch like that, and did you get your deposit back?
