Spent $400 on a broker to ship my car from Phoenix and it sat for 12 days
I needed my Honda moved from Phoenix to Portland back in March. I paid a broker $400 up front and they promised a truck within 3 days. Twelve days went by with excuse after excuse, and my car just sat in my driveway. I finally called a small carrier directly and they picked it up in 2 days for $350. Never pay a broker up front, ask if they own their own trucks before you hand over a dime. Has anyone else gotten burned by a broker who just posts your job on a load board?
