Vent: paid $75 extra for a "guaranteed date" on my car shipment to Austin and it sat in Ohio for 8 days
The dispatcher promised pickup Tuesday, then the carrier kept pushing me back with "driver issues" while my car sat in a lot off I-71. Next time I'm booking a broker with a real DOT number and skipping the rush fee, since it bought me nothing. Has anyone actually gotten a refund on one of those date guarantees, or is that money just gone?
