Can we talk about the 3 date rule?

I read this stat online that 78% of people still expect sex by the third date. But my last date ghosted me after date two because I wanted to take it slow. Which side is more normal now, the old rule or just going with the flow?

Nobody asks what the 78% of people said yes to when surveyed.

Classic move by @drew_park. The 78% probably said yes to something boring like "would you like fries with that?" or "do you agree that customer service hold music should be jazz?" Nobody's out here asking the important follow up questions. Always gotta dig deeper with these survey stats. 78% agreed to what exactly? Sounds like someone found a fancy number and ran with it.

78% of people probably said yes to "do you want to upgrade your McFlurry to a large for 50 cents?" and @walker.max is right that nobody fact-checks these things lol.
