Went on a date to that new mini golf place in Portland last Friday and she ditched me at hole 7 to take a phone call from her ex

Bull, bowling is way worse and here is why. At mini golf there are other people around, you can just keep putting and chat with the group behind you. At a bowling alley she is sitting right there in the lane next to you the whole time, checking her phone while you wait for your turn. You can not just roll your ball and ignore that. Plus you rent shoes, so you are stuck in ugly footwear watching it happen. Hole 7 at least means he got to walk away with his own shoes.

Man that stinks. Reminds me of this bowling night a few years back. Girl I was seeing kept checking her phone between frames and then halfway through game two she says she has to go help her roommate with something. Found out later the roommate was her ex. Some people just can't leave the past alone I guess. Mini golf is a bad place for it too since you're stuck there the whole time. At least bowling you can just roll your ball and ignore them.
