inVent: My coworker at the farmers market in Portland dumped my whole kombucha batch
Wait he almost threw it out for real? That's a crime against good bread. My starter is like my weird pet, I'd be so mad. You gotta hide the good stuff from people who don't get it.

inI used to think a 6-inch taping knife was just for small stuff
Exactly. A small drywall knife gets into corners a big one just can't touch. It's like what umamartin said, the right small tool saves the day. I keep a little flat bar in my pouch for prying trim. A big wrecking bar would just smash the wall. Sometimes you need the finesse, not just the force.

inPSA: I chose the cheap bid for a warehouse floor and it cost me double in the end

inPro tip: My old way of pulling wire through long conduit runs was killing my back
Park.abby has a point, that bag trick seems pretty hit or miss to me.

inMy little cousin asked me why I only collect superhero comics from the big two publishers...
Ever think about just picking one indie book a month? That's how I started... just grab something cheap from the dollar bin or a digital sale. It doesn't have to be a whole new pull list. You find a writer you like on Batman, maybe follow them to their own thing. Eases you in without the wallet panic.
