TIL my aunt has given me the same $15 Walmart candle for 11 straight birthdays
Ngl I never really tracked it until my cousin pointed it out at a family BBQ in Fresno two weeks ago. We lined up all 11 candles on the picnic table and every single one was the same vanilla scent with the same crooked label. Turns out my aunt buys them in a bulk pack every November when they go on sale and just hands one out to every niece and nephew. My cousin got 8 of them and a set of pot holders shaped like lemons. The wild part is my aunt thinks she is killing it because she wraps them in nice paper every year. So now I gotta ask, do I finally say something or just accept vanilla candles until I die?
