Used to thaw frozen chicken in hot water, now I just microwave it
Back in college I'd run the tap over a chicken breast for 20 minutes, thought that was fine. Last month my roommate caught me doing it and said it's a bacteria buffet, so now I nuke it for 4 minutes and call it close enough. Anyone else give up on proper thawing for speed and just live with the weird texture?
