A guy in line at a Cincinnati Best Buy talked me out of buying the RoboCop remake on Blu-ray
I was standing in line there 3 years ago holding the 2014 RoboCop remake for $7.99 when the guy behind me just laughed and asked if I had seen the original. He pulled out his phone, showed me the 1987 cover, and said 'that one has a point, this one just has a suit' and I put it back on the shelf. What remake did a total stranger save you from buying?
