Built a 6 foot privacy fence to block my neighbor's grill smoke, found out the smoke was coming from MY grill
For two summers I was convinced my neighbor Ray was smoking me out on purpose every Saturday around noon, so I dropped $800 on cedar and built a 6 foot fence along the property line. The smoke kept coming, same time, same spot, so I got a camera and pointed it at his yard. Turns out the wind was blowing MY grill smoke straight back at my house and Ray was inside the whole time eating a sandwich. My wife watched the footage and just said 'that explains the brisket smell in our bedroom.' Now I owe Ray an apology and I have a fence I did not actually need. Has anyone else blamed a neighbor for something they were doing to themselves?
