Rant: I said calling the city on a loud neighbor was snitching, until I stood in my own hallway at 1am
For 2 years I swore I'd never be the guy who calls the city on a neighbor, I said it was petty and cowardly. Then last Friday I got home from a late shift in Sacramento and the apartment above me had a bass speaker going so hard my kitchen light fixture was buzzing. I stood in my own hallway at 1am and could feel the thump in my chest through the wall, and my dog was shaking under the bed. I filed a noise complaint the next morning and honestly the peace I've had since makes me wish I'd done it 8 months ago. Anyone else flip on this, how long did you hold out before you finally called?
