Remember when a loud party just meant turning up the TV?

Three years ago, my neighbor Gary in Phoenix would have a few people over on a Saturday and you'd just hear some music through the walls, no big deal. Last week, his 'small gathering' shook my windows until 3 AM with a bass line that felt like a second heartbeat. It's wild how the whole vibe of a neighborhood can shift like that. Anyone else have a neighbor whose parties got way more intense over the years?

You said it shook your windows until 3 AM? That's insane. I would have completely lost my mind. It's one thing to hear some noise, but when the actual structure of your place is vibrating, that's a whole other level of disrespect. My old neighbor got a new sound system last year and I swear I could feel the bass in my teeth. It makes you feel trapped in your own home.

Did you see that article about how bass noise actually travels through walls way easier than regular sound? Makes total sense why it feels so invasive lol.

Ugh, feeling the bass in your teeth is the worst. I once thought my downstairs neighbor was just playing music loud, but then my coffee mug started doing a little shuffle across the table by itself. I felt like I was in a bad sci-fi movie about an earthquake.
