I think the Devil's Tower gift shop should sell rocks from the actual monument
Stopped at Devil's Tower in Wyoming on a run and the gift shop sells "tower rocks" that are just gravel from the parking lot, which feels like a scam at $6 a bag. If Yellowstone gets to sell actual buffalo stuff, why can't we chip a few pounds off a national monument? Anyone else bought a souvenir that turned out to be driveway rocks?

The "tower rocks" thing bugged me too until I read that chipping the monument is a federal crime.
