My sourdough starter went from a sad, flat pancake to a bubbly monster in just 48 hours after I moved it to a warmer spot.

Temperature is everything with those little yeast beasts! It's wild how a simple move from a cool counter to a warm oven with the light on can totally wake them up. That bubbly monster stage is the best feeling, like your kitchen science experiment finally worked. Just wait until you bake with it now, the rise you get is going to be amazing.

My starter last week was so dead I almost named it "Flat Stanley." Moved it to the oven like you said and it looked like a science fair volcano by morning. That thing rose so fast it almost took the lid off the jar.

Ever have one of those days where your starter looks more like pancake batter than something alive? I've been there. I left mine on a cool windowsill once and it just gave up. Felt like I was feeding a brick. But that warm oven trick is a total game changer. It's like flipping a switch from dead to completely wild in just a few hours.
