My old photo of the Veil Nebula from 2012 still holds up somehow

That old 60D and 8 inch reflector combo reminds me of my first deep sky attempts with a modded Canon 450D and a 6 inch newt. I spent a whole winter shooting the Orion Nebula with zero autoguiding and just a polar scope that was probably off by a few degrees. The subs were all over the place, trailing in every direction. I stacked them in DeepSkyStacker a few years later with darks and flats I actually kept, and it turned out way better than I expected. The core was blown out but the outer dust trails were actually visible. It taught me that a lot of the magic is in the post processing and the data you think is junk might just need a fresh look. I bet if you tried stacking with some new rejection algorithms you might pull out even more detail.

Warning: I used to hate coworking memberships until I tried one in Bangkok

Glorified coffee saunas" is exactly right, and @grace_white nailed it with Hive Thonglor being the example. I've noticed this weird pattern where every new cafe tries to be the coziest spot but they crank the heat like it's a greenhouse for pastries. Maybe it's just me but I think we've traded good airflow for aesthetic brick walls and foggy windows nobody wants to sit near.

Broke down 40 chickens at the shop before I noticed the joint trick

Oh man, I spent a whole summer building fence for my uncle the hard way, digging post holes with a shovel and a clamshell digger, sweating like a pig and hating every second of it. Then the neighbor kid, like 19 years old, rolls up with a two-man power auger and drills a hole in 30 seconds flat. Made me feel like I'd been trying to chop wood with a butter knife. My back was so mad at me for not asking around sooner. Now I'm that guy who'll try to do something complicated for two hours before someone's like "hey, have you tried just doing it the easy way?

Botched a blog rollout last month because I skipped the audit step

Man, you just reminded me of the time I forgot to add the "nofollow" tag to a bunch of affiliate links on a client's site. Had a full-blown panic when I saw Google crawling all of them like they were gold. Took me half a Saturday to clean it up, and the client still sends me screenshots of their analytics whenever we talk about site updates. It's funny how one little checkbox can haunt you for years.

My neighbor taught me her sourdough starter trick after I killed mine 3 times

Three times? That's dedication to the science experiment smell.
