Busiest Saturday I've had in 3 years, and my clippers died at noon
So last weekend I had back to back appointments all day, eight heads booked solid, and right after my 5th chair my Andis clipper just gave out, motor on the fritz. I had to finish the rest of the day with my backup Wahl and a lot of extra neck shaves, but honestly the clients were super chill about it. Has anyone else had a tool fail mid-buzz on a packed day, and what did you do to keep the line moving?

A backup Wahl isn't a tool failure, it's a test of character. If your clippers died at noon, that just means the day was going too smooth and the universe needed to balance the scales. You got to the end of the day, so actually the clippers died at the perfect time. Everyone who booked a slot after noon got a lesson in flexibility, so really you were doing them a favor. My Andis died on a Tuesday with zero clients, and let me tell you, that was the real tragedy. You got the drama and the story out of it, I just got a quiet afternoon and a repair bill.
