Hit 100 racks of ribs this weekend without a single fail
I kept a log for fun and realized I've done exactly 100 racks of spare ribs on my offsets since I started three years ago. Anyone else track numbers like that or am I just weird about my cook stats?

You're tracking your rib stats like it's a fantasy baseball league. 100 racks is solid work but let's be real - nobody is handing out trophies for hitting that number without a fail. You either know what you're doing by now or you don't. Starting a log is fine but three years in you should have that process dialed in anyway. It's more like keeping score just to keep score.

You mentioned "three years in you should have that process dialed in anyway." But here's the thing. Dialing in ribs isn't a one time thing. It changes with weather, different racks of meat, and even your smoker acting up. A log helps catch those patterns over time. I've been doing this for eight years and I still learn something new every batch. Keeping score isn't about trophies. It's about making each rack better than the last.
