After a week of fighting a seized bottom bracket, it's finally out.
Never felt so good about a ruined tool.

Honestly, that line about feeling good about a ruined tool hits home. Tbh, I've spent days on a seized bolt and wrecked a wrench getting it loose. Ngl, the victory feels worth it when you finally beat the thing. It's like the tool earned its keep by dying for the job. That mix of frustration and success is so real.

Last year my favorite screwdriver finally snapped trying to pry open a glued shut paint can. I still have the broken handle in my junk drawer. Do you ever keep the wrecked tool, or is it straight to the trash after you win the fight? That dead tool proves how hard the job was.

Frame the wrecked wrench and hang it in the garage like a retired jersey. It died a hero, getting that stupid bolt loose. You almost want to give it a little salute before you toss it in the drawer with the other fallen soldiers. What's one more broken thing in the junk drawer, right? It's like a trophy for winning the most annoying fight.
