Figured out I'd been setting chain tension wrong for 11 yrs, all because of a noise
Had a guy bring in a single speed last week and I noticed his chain had about an inch of play, told him it was way loose, then he points at mine and asks why mine looks the same. Turns out I'd been eyeballing tension instead of using the 1/2 inch rule on the chainstay, I just copied what the old timer at my first gig did in 2013 without thinking. How do you all check tension when you're in a hurry?
