Dropped $75 on a used DVD box set at a flea market and it turned into a 14 hour couch marathon
Saw a full box set of The Wire at a flea market in Tulsa two months back and the guy wanted $75, which felt dumb for something that streams. Bought it anyway, brought it to my sister's place that night, and we ended up watching 6 episodes straight until 4am, and she called in sick the next day. The discs skip a little on season 3 but honestly it made the whole thing feel more special than just hitting play on my phone. Now I'm wondering if physical sets are making a comeback or if I just got lucky. Anyone else buy a box set on a whim and end up bingeing way harder than you meant to?
