Found out my comfort rewatch show has 22 episodes a season and I never noticed for 4 years
So I was poking around on one of those fan wiki sites last night because I wanted to figure out what episode has the scene where the mom hides the divorce papers, and I ended up on the season list page. Each season has 22 episodes. Twenty two. I have watched this show start to finish maybe six times, usually two or three episodes a night before bed, and I honestly thought it was like 12 or 13 episodes a season. Somewhere I got it in my head that it was a short cable season and I never counted. Once I saw the real number I pulled up my streaming app and checked the run bar and sure enough, it just keeps going. This explains so much about why my rewatches always feel longer than I remember, and why I keep finding whole arcs I swear I never saw. It also made me feel a little dumb, since I've been recommending this show to people as a quick weekend binge when it's really more of a month long thing. Has anyone else had a show where the actual episode count blindsided you like this, or am I the only one who never checks?
