Totally get this. Shows how different people click with shows at different paces. Episode 7 is when they really start digging into Flint's past, right? That's where it all hooked me too. Glad you stuck with it.

Wait, is it just me or does that flashback episode actually change how you see Flint the rest of the series? Cause for me it was wild cause i spent the whole first half thinking he was just another power-hungry pirate but then that episode showed me his whole deal was different. Like he wasn't just about treasure or fame at all, it was way more personal and that made the rest of his choices hit harder. Did it feel that way for you too where you went back and rethought his earlier stuff?

Wait, wasn't everyone already thinking Flint was just another gold-hungry pirate until that episode? I literally had to go back and watch the whole first half again cause I felt like I missed a whole different show the first time.
